Dr. Jeremy Abbott is an orofacial pain specialist residency trained in orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine. His practice is limited to the management of patients with sleep apnea, and those patients with both TMJ disorders and sleep apnea.

Dr. Abbott’s office is conveniently located in Rockville/North Bethesda, and he is committed to providing personalized specialty care for patients in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia to help them improve their sleep and manage their pain.

They made sure I thoroughly and clearly understood how to use the device. I could not open my mouth further than 1 1/2 fingers wide because my jaw was so tight and had been spasming for years but Dr. Abbott offered me up stretches to practice and now I am able to open it 4 fingers wide! What a life changing thing it has been for me. I am able to chew again. He has also offered up many solutions to me to help figure out my jaw pain. If one thing didn’t work, we try the next thing. He used periodic manual manipulation techniques and showed me jaw exercises.  Within an expected 1-2 months  or so my jaw was working with minimal pain and I was on the road to full recovery!
